Best fried pickles!

Food is great, and the staff are amazing but their frequently out of things and have odd hours

Usually meet family here as a Midway point, the food and service is always good.

Loved this diner. The food was superb! The servers, excellent. Seating was comfortable. There is nothing like a diner that does it right. Comfort food, friendliness, and great atmosphere.

Really great food selection and the staff was very friendly and helpful and amazing. All the burgers are so good and they pork chops are incredible. The mashed potatoes are outstanding and there are plenty of varieties that you can choose from on the menu. Would definitely recommend trying a stop by for a great meal.

We really enjoyed lunch at Brick House Eatery. My wife had a turkey wrap and sweet potato fries, sister in law had a fried green tomato salad with shrimp, I had a grilled chicken and fried green tomato sandwich with crunchy battered fries. Sandwich was served fresh and HOT off the grill, Excellent and refreshing unsweetened ice tea for a hot afternoon lunch. We will be back!

I stopped infor breakfast on my way through Monticello. Brick House Eatery is a nice little diner with old Monticello charm, it is located downtown in an old building featuring decorative ceiling tiles and real old school transom windows to let out the heat obviously before air conditioning. The food was good, I have been here a couple times and have had breakfast items and lunch. Anyway it's a good place to stop and take a break from your day and fuel up.

First time here. The burger and onion rings were very good. Service was good, but could be better. Will definitely be back.

Delicious...grouper was awesome, service was great...and fast, beer was ice cold....doesn't get any better, can't wait to go back for wing Wednesdays which i hear is the bomb!!

The BEST restaurant I have ever eaten at. Not just a burger joint. They have everything. Prime Rib sandwich is amazing! Their homemade ranch is the best I’ve ever had. They also have delicious salads. I’m getting hungry just thinking about it. My son is a picky eater and he will always eat his food here. Their breakfast is awesome too and super cheap. Seriously, you can’t go wrong. We live in Monticello, and this restaurant makes the town. I wish it had later hrs, but Monticello is a quiet town that closes down early.

This was super! It was packed with the sunday lunch crowd. They seated our party of 7 promptly. Our food came out quick and delicious. The grouper sandwich was only $8 and it beat captains Ds hand down. I'm going back!!!

Limited simple menu and quaint presentation but the food was good as was the service. Just what you expect from small town country life America. Reminds me of home, growing up inthe rural Florida panhandle, but 40 years ago.

I don't know what's happened to this place but it was the worst service we have ever received , it took 20 minutes for our order to be taken and the place was not busy our waitress was to busy chatting up the boys at the bar to take care of customers the people next to us also from out of town didn't receive all of there order and continually had to get the attention of the waitress , by the time we did receive our breakfast it was luke warm . I was very disappointed.

I'm sorry... I keep trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but I just don't see the appeal in the end. I'm trying to work my way through chicken fingers right now... They are bitter and bland. Maybe the "zinger style" is better... But should I have to pay an extra dollar for it to taste good? Or drown it in sauce and salt it myself? Food that's cooked well should be able to stand on its own.Don't get me wrong, there are good things on the menu (the salads are usually good) and I really hate to say this about something that seems to be a local staple... But as I try and eat this chicken, I'm very sorry I spent the money on them.

Good food and service

Very poor service. Food took forever and arrived at the table sporadically - one person and one part at a time. I got my country fried steak first but my eggs and toast didnt arrive until my two companions almost finished eating. The waitress apologized and promised a discount on the bill but this discount never materialized.

My favorite is the blackened shrimp salad with cranberries and walnuts with raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The food is great and the prices are reasonable for a retired couple. We have had breakfast many times as well. When I am not starving I like the breakfast bowl with grits and sausage for just under 3$ it fills me up with $$ to spare.

Good breakfast, fast service. Nice host/server. Didn't need to ask for coffee refills.
